With a virtual private server (VPS) your website is hosted on a single server, which is virtualized (or split up) into multiple servers. If your server has any kind of problem, your website is down until it is fixed. The cloud uses the power of multiple servers, so if a single server experiences an outage, your website still remains online. Midphase cloud servers combine the best of both worlds; it utilizes VPS technology to segment resources and cloud technology for better uptime & reliability.

What is covered under the management?

Our management covers everything that is pre-installed on the server, including the operating system, the control panel (cPanel), and other core applications. Having a control panel (cPanel) as part of you Managed Cloud means that you can make changes to your control panel in an environment that is easy to use rather than make changes from a command line prompt for advanced users. You can choose to install other applications but anything installed after you start using the cloud server isn’t covered under our management offering.

Is there an uptime guarantee?

Midphase cloud is covered by a 99.9% uptime guarantee; if there’s any outage above the 99.9% guarantee, you’re reimbursed 5% for every hour your website is down, up to 100% reimbursement.

Each cloud server is provisioned with the more tried and tested operating system, control panel and applications. Based on it’s reliability and flexibility we install and setup the CentOS Linux operating system back with the latest version of the cPanel & WHM software package.
